Osiris Music UK presents émigré , the debut album from Killawatt.
The Album signifies three years of focused evolution in his sound, from the earlier spaced out percussive dubstep into a sub-bass centred amalgamation of electronica, techno and abstract UK aesthetics. émigré will be released digitally, and as a limited edition (250 only) double LP on brown/black marbled vinyl containing 8 of the12 tracks from the release. A free download of the full record is also included with every physical copy. Early support gained from Ben Sims, Dark Sky, Tommy Four Seven, Mosca, DJ Pete, Clouds, Eomac, Lakker, J.Tijn, Paul Mac, Mønic, Manni Dee.

「LPのトラックのほとんどは粒状の統合のような物の実験であり、それを処理している不可思議なサンプルは、決して、終了した断片になることを意図しなかった。」とKillawatt。UKプロデューサーMatthew WattことKillawattのOsiris Musc UKからの、マーブル仕様の2LP限定盤デヴューアルバム " Émigré " はインダストリアル・ダブ、ディープテクノにシフトし、そのサブベースの低音の衝撃が身体に直接共鳴する。フランス語でエミグレイと発音し、移住者や（特にフランス革命 / ロシア革命の時の）亡命者という意味を持つ「émigré」というタイトルがなにを意味しているのか ( アメリカのカリフォルニア州バークレーにはエミグレ・グラフィックス（Emigre Graphics）と呼ばれる活字製作所があるが、、？) 知る術もないが、しかし最近、尖端音楽における東欧やヨーロッパ、北欧でのロシア人アーティストの台頭はとても顕著だ。Osiris Music UKは2006年にKryptic MindsのSimon Sreeveによって設立されたレーベルで、彼が2011年にBlack Boxからリリースした3枚組" Can't Sleep " には都市の倦怠の感覚、真夜中のディストピアおよび埋葬、パンゲアなどがダブステップにのせて歌われていた。インダストリアルの文脈は確実にPeder Mannerfeltの音楽から聴こえるサブベースニヒリズム( sub-bass nihilism ) 、耳の暴力 ( aural mayhem ) 、音の酸性雨 ( sonic acid rain )と形容されるスペースとエコーからなるベースサウンドの深い円筒状のリバーブ、電子音楽「アウトサイダーテクノ」「Subliminal Kid Style」へとなだれ込んでいる。

"An analogue infusion of glitched wilderness, chaos and chance"
To accompany the release of D001, Derelicht wanted to create a Visual EP to showcase tracks by The Soft, ThermalBear and Killawatt. Liam Roberts directed the video for "Aeolis Mons" and comments on his workflow and thoughts behind the process. "I selected "Aeolis Mons" by Killawatt as it seemed intense and had this un-constrained raw energy to it. For this video I'm exploring the medium of VHS tape, directly manipulating the tape to create raw analogue glitches, moving away from the computer and applying very little in terms of post production. The glitched tape consists of footage shot by myself of countryside wilderness, fused with sampled materiel from the depths of the VHS bin in local charity shops, with the combined aim of creating an intense sense of mystery, confusion and unknown".
