A contemporary visual parable of mental weakness and fortitude.
“A Lovely Shifting, Twitching” is a scored improvisation that immerses the body in abstract, disjointed, staccato imagery and sound, thereby evoking the mental itch to check and check again as if chasing one’s own tail, the trance state of attention on the glowing screen, and the mezmerization of the hyper-present crowd.

10″で300枚限定リリースされ手製のアートワーク、水青色のヴィニールのBサイドは抽象的スクリーン・プリント、写真、ライナー・ノート、ダウンロードコードがインサートされている 。リリースもとのInfinite Greyscaleは、2011年以来アーティスト本を出版しているレーベルで、アーティストのPaul McDevittとCornelius Quabeckにより設立された。最初の作品は2013年にGabriel Saloman - Riots Don't Just Happen(IGR01)とJefre Cantu - Requiem For Violin And Magnetic Tape ( IGR 02 ) の2作品がリリースされている。

Infinite Greyscale is delighted to present a new long-form composition by Holly Herndon. Body Sound was composed by Herndon, in collaboration with choreographer and dancer Cuauhtemoc Peranda, and performed at Stanford University CCRMA (Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics).
Peranda’s body acts like a voice, guiding the listener through this complex yet visceral piece. Herndon restructured the sounds of the dancer’s body to make an arrangement that is simultaneously
