2013年にリースされたアルバムAaron Dilloway "The Beauty Bath" が再加工、再コンテクストされたピクチャーレコード。ノイズの快適さとはなんだろう。その大きな理由は抽象のなかで生まれる自由な幻覚的イメージだろうか。Volcanic TongueのDavid Keenanは「ロウレベルの磁気テープのホワイトノイズが疾走する。インダストリアル・スケールの古典的な20世紀のミニマリズム、フィードバック讃歌、反響する金属トーン、云々」と評しているが。テープ・コラージュとテープ・ループ効果のプロセスは地獄のようなノイズ、ではなく[厳しさ]から[穏やかな]スペクトルに至る点描画家の描く作品のようにスウィートな死の物語の旅に我々を誘う。Aaron Dillowayの「The Beauty Bath」にはニューヨークでDaisレコードを設立し実験的アート・イン・プリントを展開しているYork Factory Complaintのヴィジュアル/レコーディング・アーティストRyan Martinの2012年の作品" The Beauty Bath " がジャケットに使われている。Aaron Dillowayの運営するHanson Recordsは、まるで夢の中を覘いているような独特の現実感のある作品が多くリリースされている。2010年代ポスト・インダストリアル以後、ノイズの概念が再び変容し、そこで描かれる無意識や集合的無意識は、依然として夢や偶然性などを重視した不条理なシュルリアリスムの技法や手法と深い関係にあるが、それこそポジティブに死を渇望する「Komm, süsser Tod ( Come, Sweet Death ) ～甘き死よ、来たれ」なのだ。

Aaron DillowayとJason Lescalleet による「Grapes And Snakes ( 葡萄と蛇 ) 」は、アナログシンセとテープ・マニピュレーションによるテープ音楽とインダストリアルのハウリングの間に横たわっている音響心理学的な世界を構築している。ノイズとエレクトロニクスの同時代のサウンド構成からなるサウンドスケープは、時代遅れにされたオープンリールのレコーダー、損われたテープなどを使用することによる明らかに原始的、呪術的な戦術がみられる。彼らやJames Hoff、Pete Swansonなどのアメリカの実験的なノイズミュージックは、どこか常に醒めた意識を持つパフォーマンスとプレゼンテーションからの構成物で、サウンド、哲学、数学、および言語学を含む複数のフィールドの統合のためのプラットフォームとして集合的に機能する。イタリア未来派からダダ、シュトックハウゼン、ケージ、70年代インダストリアルを経て、同時代の音楽、アウトサイダーテクノの潮流はPeder Mannerfeltなどと、いまここにある。そして過去のすべての美学のゆるやかな破壊、一般的に既に存在したものに満足しないこれらの実験音楽のベクトルが、未来の、終末の、この世の終わりに向かっているのは言うまでもない。
