100の透明なレーザーで作られた構造内にaleatoricallyに起きた100の音と光フラグメントがacrilycパネルをカットします。The project frequencies (light quanta) 全体のプロジェクトは、視聴覚の創造的な過程に適用された基礎的な量子物理学法則の隠喩の関係に基づく。パーティクル、見込み、波/粒子二重性および不連続。これらの概念のまわりで組み立てられた視聴覚の構成は、時間と空間で常に消費し、破壊的な形式を生成して、それら自身を有機的に開発する100の音と光フラグメントから生じる。

新生児の1分当たりの周波数 ( Fリークエンス) は、120回の頻度のハートビートだという。オーディオ(音)信号、機械的振動、電波、光の周波数は、最近では高周波化 は、frequency counterという周波数カウンタで通常測定され、これは、応用の反復 の電気信号の周波数を測定しデジタル表示上にヘルツで結果を表示する電子機器。
音楽とは電磁気の信号の周波数、正弦波という波に過ぎない、特にグリッチ以後の先端音楽は「正弦波曲線が、楽曲の理想的な形式」ともいえる。「音波としての正弦波 / 人の耳は単一の正弦波を認識することが出来る。なぜなら、そのような波形を持つ音は人には純粋な音高の音としてはっきりと聞こえるからである。純粋な正弦波に近い音には、口笛や、ぬれた指先でクリスタルグラスの縁をなぞって振動させる際に発生する音、そして音叉の音がある。このように正弦波として聞こえる音は純音と呼ばれる。音波が2つ以上の正弦波によって構成される場合、その中で最も周波数が低い正弦波を基準として、その他の正弦波の周波数が基準となる正弦波の周波数の整数倍で構成されるときは、その音波の波形は周期的な交流波形とな る。この音は、人の耳には楽音または単音として認識される。それ以外の2つ以上の正弦波によって構成される音はノイズか和音、ないしはうなりとして聞こえる」 ( sine wave、sinusoidal wave )

*frequencies is an ongoing process focusing on basic sound generation systems. For this edition, frequencies (a / fragments) the system consists of a series of custom made devices in which computer-controlled solenoids activate a variety of tuning forks. The resulting sound fragments, when articulated in conjunction with synthetic sine waves, create frictions between the acoustic and electronic elements.
The tuning fork, producing a sound closest to a pure sinewave, provides a historical linkage between science (beginning as a 19th Century precision tool), tonal instrumental works, and electronic music in all of its permutations.
The frequencies (a) sound and light performance was awarded the 2013 Ars Electronica Golden Nica for Digital Music & Sound Art.

Frequencies ( A ) は、純粋なディジタル音波と機械的に起きた音叉の音を組み合わせる正常な実行。高精度で音叉を打つsolenoidesを活性化して、コンピューターからのシーケンスを引き起こす。光の流れは全く最小でない音と光構成を作成し、フォークを備えた同時発生の中で破裂する。

frequencies (a) is a sound performance/installation combining the sound of mechanically triggered tuning forks with pure digital soundwaves. The performer is triggering sequences from the computer, activating solenoids that hits the tuning forks with high precision. Streams of light burst in synchronicity with the forks, creating a not-quite-minimal sound and light composition.

This second installment of the «frequencies» series is an audiovisual composition purely based on synthetic sound and synthetic physical matter. Tightly composed together, sound and light are bursting within acrylic structures, bringing a sense of extreme precision where one can either hear the light or see the sound. The is built out of short audiovisual sequences organized and processed in real time, designed to be listened to at random and then offering a new duration and dynamics with every hearing.
